The only thing I'd suggest is to install proper internet - in times of Starlink this really is an easy option and it's just not acceptable anymore to go without internet for days.
Shall book again once this has been installed.

Besides the diving, incredible boat, with a very experienced crew and good priorities on safety and good food. Lots of care taken to ensure you enjoy the experience, from electrolytes to the best food I've eaten in thailand so far (seriously).

Everything was just right.... read more The professionalism of the staff was outstanding, with Marco as Cruise Director always calm, competent, and in full control. All of the guides were extremely knowledgeable and consistently friendly.

The boat itself is beautifully maintained and very charming. There are plenty of places to relax on board, both in the sun and in the shade. There is ample space for camera equipment, and in the lounge you can charge everything you need. The food was excellent, and what truly stands out is the incredible friendliness and helpfulness of the entire crew.

I would choose the Thailand Master again at any time for a diving safari and can wholeheartedly recommend it without any reservations. Safety on board is also excellent. We experienced a situation with strong currents and heavy surface swell, which was handled extremely professionally by the crew. Everyone was brought safely out of the water, and the route was adjusted accordingly.

It was an absolute pleasure to spend so much time on this boat, and I sincerely hope we will have the opportunity to repeat this experience. My personal highlight was seeing a seahorse, something I had wanted to see for a long time, along with many other wonderful fish species—especially interesting for macro lovers. The guides consistently point out fascinating fish and marine life, which is particularly rewarding for photographers. At the same time, there were also larger fish to see, such as blacktip reef sharks.

I spent the Christmas holidays on a 5-day liveaboard cruise, diving up to four times a day, and it was amazing!
The dive sites were diverse,... read more covering several islands and marine parks. We had the chance to see a great variety of reef fish and corals. My absolute favorite site was Richelieu Rock, where it felt like swimming inside an aquarium.
The dive guides were extremely knowledgeable and with an incredible eye for spotting small fish that you would never notice on your own. They were always happy to point things out and explain what we were seeing, which made each dive even more special.
Another huge highlight was the organization. Everything was planned to perfection: you always knew exactly how much time you had, the daily schedules, dive briefings, and activities. They provided absolutely everything you could need making the whole experience completely stress-free.
The equipment was in excellent condition, and the crew was incredibly fast and efficient at fixing even the smallest issue or responding to any request.
And then don’t even get me started on the food. It was delicious, with great variety from day to day, including fantastic traditional Thai dishes!
All in all, everything was perfect, thank you so much to the entire team for your hard work!

Small dive groups divided by the skill level, magnificent dive sites, iconic ship, the most caring crew and absolutely wonderful food (seriously!). 4 dives a day with knowledgeable dive masters, opportunity to take advanced diving course while being spoiled by the nicest crew - it was awesome! We did the best of Thailand experience which ended up being more than 30 dives.

The dive Masters were exceptionally good. They knew the sites and were able to show us the various things that are special about Thailand. I can confidently say that I saw new things that I had never seen before. Fish that I have never seen, eels, that I had never seen, And many other exceptional experiences.

All of the diving was the most important thing. The other thing that’s important is the overall experience and I must say that this was exceptional as well. I was particularly impressed that they didn’t try to westernize the food. Wheat authentic Thai cuisine at every meal. As we dove nitrox we were able to do up to four dives today with no problem.

Anyone considering a dive trip to Thailand would do well to consider signing onto one of their trips.

The staff helps you with everything, the only thing you have to do yourself is the diving. I can everybody recommend a trip with The Junk.

  High season on The Junk  - I was picked up on time at the pre arranged location without issue, on way other passengers were collected making for a friendly atmosphere before arriving, on time at... read more the Junk. The cruise director Brian, greeted us and made feel welcome with his warm N.Irish humour. We set sail overnight for our first dive site which we successfully dived the gollowing morning and afternoon. As we continued Brian informed us of choppy seas ahead due to poor weather conditions, he was right, the sea turned wavey which meant we were unable to visit all the scheduled dive sites, Brian and his co-dive leader BJ, made the most of available sites meaning no dives were missed. As Brian could not control the weather we had to curtail our dives mainly to one site, which was a great shame as it meant 50% of the dive sites were missed. Despite this we did not miss any of our 4 x dives per day, albeit mostly off one island, I Stead of several as per the itinerary. Brian was obviously disappointed we couldn't enjoy all the islands as was I.
The trip was still very enjoyable and I would recommend The Junk to friends and family as an excellent and atmospheric boat to liveaboard whilst enjoying zhe delights of the Andaman Sea.

The food was excellent, with every meal being something to look forward to. The boat itself is beautiful, featuring cozy and comfortable cabins and a lovely common living area where you can relax between dives.

The large sundeck, half shaded and half sunny, is perfect for unwinding, enjoying the views, or simply taking a moment to yourself. The daily program was clear and well-structured, with thorough briefings so you always knew what to expect.

Overall, this was without a doubt one of the best, if not the very best, liveaboard experiences I have ever had. Highly recommended for anyone seeking an exceptional diving adventure in Thailand.
