PADI Courses & Certification
PADI Courses
You can join any of our cruises with just an OPEN WATER DIVING LICENSE…
… but we highly recommend taking your PADI certification a little further to get the BEST out of your trip, and recreational diving altogether.
(Don’t worry, if you have an OW license with another agency, these are all still available to you)
Yes, with an OW license you can explore the underwater, but to really get the most out of all of what recreational diving has to offer, there is some extra PADI certification that you will likely want to add…
… Which you can easily do on board with us, and which won’t interfere with your diving schedule.
HOW IT WORKS
- Simply let us know which course you would like to do, and then sign up/purchase with PADI for the course eLearning using the links below.
NOTE – If you can purchase using the links we provide specifically, your course will automatically be assigned to our PADI profile ready for certifying.
2. Complete the eLearning element before joining your liveaboard cruise.
3. Our dive instructors will teach the rest of your course onboard, and we will add this onboard part to your final bill, which can be paid just before disembarkation.
Advanced Open Water
The Advanced Open Water course ultimately increases and cements your knowledge of diving, and once qualified allows you to dive to 30m (as opposed to 18m on an Open Water license).
There are 2 mandatory specialties within the course, then you can choose 3 more that take your liking – (it’s like a specialty sampler platter). For every specialty dive you complete, you can earn credit toward PADI® specialty certifications
Mandatory –
Deep and Navigation
PLUS choose any 3 from the following –
Digital Underwater Photography, Dive Against Debris, Enriched Air Nitrox, Fish Identification, Night, Peak Performance Buoyancy, Search & Recovery, Underwater Naturalist, and Wreck Diver.*
*Due to the nature of some of the adventure dive opportunities, some may not be available on certain itineraries. Our suggestion is to choose which you would like to do on board with your Dive Instructor.
PADI certification | Advanced Open Water
250 USD excl. materials
Designed to advance your diving, so you can start right after earning your Open Water Diver certification. This course helps build confidence and expand your scuba skills through different Adventure Dives.
*for eLearning pre course study materials
PADI certification | Nitrox Diver
125 USD excl. materials
The PADI Enriched Air Diver course is PADI’s most popular specialty scuba course. If staying down longer and getting back in the water sooner sounds appealing, then don’t hesitate to become an enriched air diver.
*for eLearning pre course study materials
Enriched Air (Nitrox)
If you want to stay lower for longer and take in the most that you can when submerged, then taking the Enriched Air (Nitrox) course is for you.
You will also benefit from smaller intervals needed between dives.
This course is the perfect complement to an Advanced Open Water diver PADI certification
