The entire staff were very attentive to anything we needed. They made the diving easier by helping us with our wetsuits, get our BCD on. Then upon our return to the boat, the welcomed us with a variety of juices and water. They also assisted with helping us out of our wetsuits and then rinsed them. I felt very pampered

Its the best live aboard I have never done. Food is amazing and with Jonathan and the staff we feel like at home, we had an amazing briefing for each dive and we could stay for an hour. Its make a big difference when you are very confortable on a boat.

Beautiful boat and the dive crew were excellent. We had Johnathan as a private guide and he was very good guiding us under water, was patient and explained things very well and helped me improve my diving. I also did a few dives with Brian and he was very good as well. Bee was wonderful very attentive by giving us our favourite juice as soon as we got back from diving, she also helped me with some of my dive clothes that was hard to get on and off. The food was wonderful!!! Thank you to the kitchen staff, they made two birthday cakes to celebrate two different birthdays, which was very special.

Very clean and functional spaces with smooth & efficient operations.
The meals exceeded our expectations! This will be my first dive trip where I've probably gained weight instead if losing a kilo or two 🙂

A beautiful boat furnished with great taste and full functionality, couldn't be better!

The Junk is an amazing boat, the crew and atmosphere on-board were 2nd to none, the food and drinks were also very good. We, my wife and family had such an AMAZING time, and saw some really cool marine life. I'm fairly new to diving but this was the best trip so far, by a long way! A fantastic mix of dive sight expertly guided. Diving timed perfectly to have the reefs to ourselves. Huge shoals of tuna trevally's, rainbow runners and emperor fish feasting on vast swaths of glass fish.....an amazing and awesome sight. How wonderful to be breathless after 20 years of diving.

An amazingly hard-working and cheerful crew working together superbly to make everything so easy and comfortable. I found the whole itinerary to be perfectly paced. Excellent diving. The spacious dive area was really appreciated.
Naa is an amazing cook and very well assisted by Poom. The Thai dishes were delicious and perfectly spiced (for a European!) and there were other delicious options too. The fruit was always fresh and nicely presented and the cakes she made were also great. Coffee was good and a nice selection of soft drinks too.
Always good to see that safety is taken seriously by the Captain, Dive Director and crew.
My sincere thanks to all involved in making this such a perfect holiday. Johnathan is so enthusiastic and well informed about the marine life and environment. Daeng was a very good dive master and showed us some great things.

My wife and I have spent the last two weeks diving aboard "The Junk", visiting dive sites from the Similan Islands to the Surin Islands. The dive sites visited were excellent. We have been diving the Red Sea on several occasions, Caribbean Islands and last Christmas we spent three weeks on Phi Phi island, diving every day.
However, the dives, 29 in total, were very good. We would highly recommend the dive sites we visited, we saw so many varieties of fish, both large and small. We strongly recommend that you get wet and go diving to see for yourself, it's very beautiful, nowhere, yet, compare to these very good diving sites.

In retrospect, overall the diving in Thailand on "The Junk" was impressive. The journey began in the Similan islands on December 31st 2004. Even though I have had dives all over the world, from the Caribbean to Africa, the first dives I experienced after the tsunami were (on a scale of 1 to 10) at least a 7 or 8. I was the only person that did not cancel my trip, on "The Junk", from December 30th to January 5th. I think that those that did cancel have missed an opportunity of a lifetime.
